Join the Claim becomes FCA regulated claims management company

Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Join the Claim is now authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for regulated claims management activities.

The move marks a significant milestone for the platform as scrutiny around claimant acquisition, onboarding and legal advertising continues to increase across the claims and collective actions sector.

Join the Claim said the authorisation strengthens its position as the long-term infrastructure and engagement partner for law firms operating in large-scale consumer claims and collective actions.

Jordan Clayton, founder of Join the Claim, said:

“Claimant engagement is becoming far more sophisticated and far more scrutinised across the sector. Firms are operating in an environment where communication, onboarding and consumer understanding matter more than ever before. FCA authorisation reflects the standards and operational framework we have continued to build across the platform. It reinforces our commitment to transparency, compliance and building consumer trust over the long term.”

The authorisation applies specifically to regulated claims management activities. Join the Claim confirmed it will continue supporting awareness and onboarding across both regulated and unregulated claims, including opt-out collective actions.

The company said the development reflects wider changes across the market, where communication and onboarding are increasingly viewed as core operational components of large-scale claims rather than purely marketing functions.

Amy Parkinson, chief of staff at Join the Claim said:

“Consumers increasingly expect to understand exactly who they are engaging with, how their information will be used and what role a platform is playing in the claims process. At the same time, courts, regulators and firms are placing greater focus on participation, engagement and real-world claimant outcomes. We believe clearer communication and stronger onboarding standards will become increasingly important as the market continues to mature.”

Join the Claim works with law firms and claims teams across a range of collective actions and group litigation matters. The platform supports consumer awareness, claimant engagement and onboarding through plain-English communication and large-scale digital outreach.

The company’s FCA authorisation provides a clearer regulatory framework for its regulated activities while strengthening the compliance measures and consumer-focused standards already embedded across the platform.

Clayton added:

“The collective actions landscape does not sit neatly within a single regulatory category. Different claims involve different legal frameworks and very different claimant journeys. Our role remains focused on helping people understand claims clearly and helping firms engage consumers in a compliant, transparent and accessible way.”

Join the Claim invites open to discussions with firms, funders and claims teams exploring claimant engagement, onboarding and awareness strategies for current and future claims.
