Overview
2plan is one of the leading wealth management firms in the United Kingdom. In early 2024, one year after it was hacked, the advisory network notified some of its clients that their data may have been stolen. 2plan warned the confidential data was at high risk of being exploited by scammers, making breach victims prime targets for cybercriminals.

In a letter to affected clients, 2plan said: “We have completed expert analysis of the data involved in this incident, and have determined, given the nature of the stolen data, that there is a risk the data may be used by someone to deliberately target you, for their own financial gain. We are also concerned that there is sufficient data about you to enable attempts to impersonate you, or approach you (via telephone or email) with potentially believable scams.”
A group action claim allows people affected by the same issue to take action together. This strength in numbers helps stand up to big organisations. Join the Claim helps connect people with law firms so these actions have a real impact.
